Biography

Jin Chen received the bachelor of engineering degree diploma in biomedical engineering from Department of Electronic Engineering in Nanjing University (China).

Jin is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the optical imaging laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Xavier Intes and she is expected to received the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in december 2011.

Jin's primary research interests are:

• multi-modality biomedical imaging
• NIR tomography
• computational imaging methods (FEM, parallel Monte Carlo)

Besides her research activities, Jin have also been a teaching assistant for undergratudate students in the biomedical engineering department of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2010.

Jin is looking for a position starting september/november 2011.
